Our basic prayer rope, patterned after the Anglican prayer rope, is what we use here at Saint Brendan's.  Each prayer rope comes with instructions on what to pray while using this ancient monastic tool.  Approximately 13" long.

Our Roman Catholic rosaries are beautifully hand-tied just like our prayer ropes.  Approximately 16" long.

You can wear our wrist chaplets as a constant reminder of God's call to pray.  Each chaplet also comes with an instruction card of what to pray.

Hand-Tied Prayer Ropes

One of the classic labors of monks has been the tying and selling of prayer ropes.  Our prayer ropes are hand-tied right here at the Priory House.  We use an adaptation of the Anglican prayer rope.  We also tie rosaries, wrist chaplets, and key fobs; they are all finished with the same hand-knotted crosses.

Income from the sale of each prayer rope will be put into a fund for the construction of Holy Trinity Chapel -- the "house that prayer built."
